<p>Ran and Rashomon are my favorite. I might be the only Kurosawa fan I know who does not like Seven Samurai, but loves High and Low, Ikiru, and Yojombo.</p>
<p>I've only seen one, but I absolutely loved it. We watched Throne of Blood in my English class after reading Macbeth. It's common knowledge in my class that I'm trying to learn Japanese and likewise can understand some (read: very little) of it, so throughout the movie they were constantly asking me what random words meant even though the subtitles were right in front of them. I was like "uh...'hai' means 'yes'"...</p>

I read his autobiography. It's absolutely fascinating.
Even the title is clever "Something Like an Autobiography"</p>
