Well I’m officially enrolled at Lewis and Clark thanks everyone for the advice and support, bopambo and calmom you two are very sweet, and Erin’s Dad all your posts regarding LC have been a huge help I’m really excited for next year. I’ve basically already planned out my first two years and my study abroad XD Yay senioritis!

Wonderful, thanks for letting us know. It is an exciting time and you’ve really earned what has come your way. Enjoy it all, including the rest of senior year, it’ll just fly by.

Good luck Kenzie. I hope you really enjoy it there.

I just wanted to say how much I admire you!! I have been around this forum for awhile and you are so refreshing. I am so tired of hearing about all the CC posts who are WAY to focused on prestige at all costs. My S is a Junior and will be applying to L&C next Fall. It makes my heart happy to know that there will be girls like you there. Maybe some of the real “smart” people know what is truly important.

Aww thank you I hope everything goes well with your son and maybe I’ll see him on campus my sophomore year :D

Good luck kenzie! Best wishes! :)

Wondering if the OP is still around and how things worked for her?

Depending what you want to do with your life, you may ascribe different levels of importance to “prestige.” If you may pursue a career that values name-brand education, then it’s a no-brainer: Wellesley is far more prestigious (and not totally without reason). That said, if you’re a poetry major or sth else that’s not going to lead to a lucrative job in a field that values name-brand diplomas, take the L&C money and run.

CJane, She still posts on the L&C forum.

^ thanks, heading over there now.
