Lack of a Rank, or even a percentile

I go to a school that doesn't rank. At all. Will this hamper my chances at the top schools (my top choices as of now are Harvard, Georgetown, and Columbia)? They don't even give percentiles. The only thing you learn regarding rank is the top five, which they don't calculate until the END of senior year when college admissions are finished.

Nah lots of schools are like that. Good luck!

many prestigious high schools are like that.
mine doesn’t rank either, about 15% go to top schools each year. Good luck!

Same here. Mine used to rank, but the issue became that kids lower in the rankings were getting rejected from the top schools despite the fact that the difference between #1 & #50 was .1 in Weighted GPA because it is so competitive and many of the top national universities (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc.) didn’t know quite how competitive it was because we don’t send a lot of kids there, but instead we send oodles to the top LACs (Bowdoin, Amherst, etc.)

My school doesn’t rank either. For the record, you won’t be hurt by anything that is beyond your control.
