Which Liberal Arts Colleges, if any, are known for offering abundant financial aid to international applicants?
Only Amherst says they will meet 100 % of demonstrated need. But there are others that do. Grinnell, Colby come to mind.
The University of Richmond will meet 100% of demonstrated need for internationals whom they admit (approx. 10% of the student body is international), but they are need aware for internationals. You need to have very high stats to have a chance at their merit scholarships and need based aid. http://financialaid.richmond.edu/prospective/international.html
Amherst is one of a very few number of schools that is need blind for internationals and meets 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted students. Colby is not need blind for international applicants, although they do (like pretty much all of their peer institutions) meet 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted students.
Take a look at Macalester too.
Yes, I misstated, there are others that will give the full aid but not need blind. Only Amherst need blind. Dartmouth too which is a Uni but much more similar to a LAC.
Colgate but it is need aware. Only when you are admitted, then you are helped generously.
@BrownParent Dartmouth is no longer need-blind to international applicants.
Oh yeah, and then there is that.
