LACs with strong science programs for a 1300 SAT girl

What are some LACs in the northeast-ish area with strong programs in the sciences that I could start looking at if my SAT is 1300? My GPA is around 93 unweighted. I want to be a science major, but I don't really want a huge preprofessional focus.
Thanks!

You could look at Bryn Mawr, Vassar, and Colby for starters.

Also Union College and Lafayette. Moving a bit west try Franklin & Marshall and College of Wooster.

You have got to look at Smith. They are building a new science center and are hungry enough for science majors that I believe they have additional scholarship money for same (I know they do for engineering). The temporary science building is apparently well equipped inside. Terrific school and you can take classes at Amherst and three other colleges as well.

try occidental. Due is Jan 10th.

Grinnell has a very high ph.d. productivity for science majors.
Also, it is not super hard to gain acceptance as far as I know.
It's not in the northeast, though.

Juniata, BU, RPI, WPI, F&M, Lafayette and Trinity for starters.

A few more LAC's from the Midwest. Somebody already mentioned Grinnell, which is a very good suggestion.

I would add Beloit, Denison, and Kalamazoo to the list of very good schools for your tastes.

I would Allegheny to the list as well.

I'd also add Dickinson, Connecticut College, Skidmore, Kenyon and Oberlin to the list.

thank you all so much! i'll definitely start looking at these!

Hamilton College has a brand new, beautiful science building.

Williams has a very good science program as well....

Lawrence University if you're interested in physics.

Might look at Wellesley College and Holy Cross. Holy Cross has a January 15th deadline.
