Just wondering what a score of “301” means on the WebCAPE placement test for Spanish at Villanova. It was in the second category. I took four years of Spanish in high school and I excelled in my fourth year, with many people coming to me for help. I hope that I can at least take the intermediate level.
The thing about college Spanish is that it will go much more in depth and be a lot harder than high school. The “second” level of college spanish will likely be on the same level as spanish 3/4 in high school. A 301 is still a great score! After 4 years of high school spanish, that seems about accurate. Of course, if you really do feel like you should be in a higher level, you can move up after the add/drop period. Just consult with an advisor.
