<p>It depends on your background and how much language you’ve had in HS. If you’ve had a couple of years and earn a strong score on the placement test, you can skip Lang 1 & 2. </p>
<p>In French, for example, you could take RL 109 & 110 to fulfill the requirement. Or, if you’ve had ~4 years in HS, you could take just one semester of RL 209 (aka CCR). </p>
<p>RL = Romance Language.</p>
<p>So that would mean it would take 2 full years to complete the requirement with no prior experience/if you start from the beginning?</p>
<p>If you got any of the above scores you don’t have to take any language correct? Also, have you taken any language? If so how was it?</p>

<p>I’ll let others chime in on the quality of the coursework. But, I heard from more than one student that they were turned off continuing a language due to the CCR course.</p>
