Language Requirement

<p>Would 3 years of Latin (two honors and one AP) and 2 years of spanish (both honors) be enough to get into Princeton for engineering?</p>

<p>Also, would it be better to take a combined Latin/Greek class rather than just Latin?</p>

If possible, we expect students will complete the following courses before beginning study at Princeton:
• four years of English (including continued practice in writing)
• four years of mathematics (including calculus for students interested in engineering)
• four years of one foreign language
• at least two years of laboratory science (including physics and chemistry for students interested in engineering)
• at least two years of history
In addition, most candidates have had some study in the visual or performing arts.

<p>You’d be covered with AP Latin. Of course, that does not mean you’ll get in.</p>

<p>Thanks. Of course no gurantee, just making sure I wouldn’t need any more language than that. Would latin/greek combo be any more inpressive or have more weight than a latin only class?
P.S. It would be sophmore year that I have the choice. </p>
