Hi people. So I am a ~4.1W and ~3.8UW student at a competitive school (top 100 in nation) and my class rank is in the 3rd decile.

I transferred in at the beginning of my sophomore year and I took Mandarin during my Freshman year at my old school. I haven't taken any other requirements since

My counselor told me I was fine and I can just take the SAT2 in Chinese.

I went to take the test today but I didn't bring a CD player so I couldn't take it.

I haven't been in a Spanish class since 8th grade so I don't really speak any other languages.

I know for UCs they have language requirements. 2 years (3 years recommended) which I can't take and the SAT2 subject test which I screwed up on.

The remaining options are the AP Exams or the December SAT in languages that I can't even count to 10 in or a college course.

Does anyone know if it's too late to enroll in a college Mandarin course at a nearby community college?

And does anyone know how my lack of language classes will affect my chances at applying to these universities?
