Language SAT II with **CD Players?**

Wo...wo...wo...

I thought all the language tests with listening requires a cassette player, not a CD player..........

When did ETS change this?

YEAH. i have that same question. BUMP.

I thought it was a CD palyer too.. where do they say 'CD palyer'?

oops. i meant to say i thought it was a cassette player** too

here is the link:

http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/testday/cdplayer.html

This is really annoying!!!!!!!!

oh no... which lang test are you planning to take, ultimatemath?
have you heard nething bout the french test?

This is really confusing because when I registered yesterday for Japanese w/ listening, it said CD Player ...but when I clicked on it for details, it took me to a page that talked about CASSETTE players

I am trying to take Korean, but if this change is really true, i think it affects ALL language tests.

Don't be so sure.....let us wait and see.

Anyone got some new info?

bump...
even though i'm pretty sure it's the CD player.

CB is going hi-tech. Next thing you know there will be televised proctors and instructions available on DVD.

Under the "What to bring" section:

"Portable listening or recording device (with or without earphones) or photographic equipment (Note: Acceptable cassette players with earphones are required for the listening tests.)"

They just need to edit everything before they change one.

I don't have a CD player and need to buy one....

I just bought a cassette player but ......oh well....
