<p>Any problems with theft? I've been wondering about that, especially when carrying a $3000 laptop around.</p>
<p>BTW Thinkpad in one GREAT manufacturer. Love their business laptops. If anyone out there want a highly reliable and sturdy (not to mention professional) laptop, Thinkpads are top of the line.</p>
<p>if anything....it's mostly the library laptops that get stolen.</p>
<p>But..theft does happen...not that often...but you shouldn't be leaving your laptop unattended anyway :-)</p>

<p>but it can be easily avoided. Theft happens when people leave their laptop on their desks at their library, but then leave it sitting right out in the open while they go on social hour or to get their double mocha skim french vanilla cappuccino with 3 circles of whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg.</p>
