Last Batch

Okay. so i'm guessing that the last batch was sent on saturday. and ppl living in socal should recieve it on monday and the rest on tuesday.
my question is...
is this the last batch that was suppose to be the "third wave" which we never got
or is it like the last final final batch which includes rejections as well?

this upcoming wave should consist of some fall + spring acceptances and rejections last.

so rejections will come ON april 1st
and before april 1st
is either fall or spring acceptance?

It should be the last wave of admissions based on (lack of) the time left.
However, somehow I feel there are a lot of ppl will be admitted this round because I have not seen too many admitted kids, particularly into CLAS. It is a big part of the university, the ratio (to other USC schools) of reported admits on cc is too low this far.

@elan_xu: yes that is what i was thinking as well
I’m a CLAS applicant so i have been looking at ppl who have been admitted to CLAS
and not too many were accepted to CLAS yet…
are u CLAS???

You can’t really say that the letters for THIS will come on THIS day.
It’s a toss.
The mailman and postal service decide that.
We can HOPE for it.
But regardless, everyone should have some sort of idea of what their decision is by the end of the week.

Correct, since I am on the EC, I will check posts diligently in the next few days from those who live in Ca who have similar status change patterns as mine to see what kind of letters they get. Why can’t we be sent a decision email like from many other schools?

I am for CLAS.

Yeah I’m SoCal area, so hopefully I’ll hear something tomorrow.
I’ll be staring at the mailbox all day.
Unfortunately, our mail guy has started coming LATER to deliver the mail. :-P

haha, staring at the mailbox is pretty stressful. How about I will start staring at mine after you get your decision. This process feels like a pre-college stress training.

Well I’m an average student (I do extremely well in English. Math…not so much; failed 2 quarters and had to repeat another).
I’ve had a lot of health problems for the past 4 years, so my ec’s were limited.
But I have a lot of experience for my SCA supplemental application.
I even won first place in a nation wide arts contest for one of my videos.
Which I’m hoping will be a redeeming quality.
Everyone keeps telling me I’ll get in to the film school, but I don’t want to get too optimistic or anything since, realistically, I know my chances are kind of slim.
But hey, if I don’t get in, it’s their loss.
I’ve gotten into other universities, and I’m happy either way.
:).
Just keep your spirits up; you did all that you can do to show them that they should want you.
Leave it to God and the postal service.

I live in SoCal and one of my classmates got accepted on Saturday. I won’t get home 'til after the mail comes. Ugh. My parents better call and tell me if I get anything. At this point I don’t even care if it’s rejection, I JUST WANT TO KNOW.
