Oh sorry >< my school doesn’t do GPA but my marks are all above 90% and apparently that translates to A’s?
Math 98%
Social 93%
Biology 99%
English 90%
Chemistry 91%
French 96%
(all IB)
Can someone tell me how the GPA would translate? I’m from Alberta Canada and I googled that’s all A’s (given no + or -)
Someone chance me again? ><

If my school does not report GPA, does the Uni look at our transcript and find the GPA themselves? Does an A in Canadian grading system translate to a 4.

Okay, so they will look at IB predicted scores first, coz IB schools don’t do GPA. But we are to submit transcript too, so they will also look at transcript on top of predicteds?

I think you have a great chance. The only issue would be your low SAT score, but everything else looks awesome (especially your extracurriculars!).

banterings, haha I really hope so too, but no way. You’re definitely more competitive than me, plus you are submitting your SATs. I’m only using my IB scores, which might be disadvantageous for me, even though NYU says there’s no preference.

I’m so glad you guys think my extracurriculars are meaningful… Hahah to be honest I don’t think I have enough leadership experiences and that might urk the admins a little… >< I guess we’ll just have to see on December 15th! Oh yeah I saw something about the early decision deadline extended for a lot of schools, did NYU extend as well? Because doesn’t that mean we’ll get the decisions a few days later too? ><
