- Average: APUSH teacher who knows my struggle in history, yet I applied myself and ended with an A.
Essays:
I’m not the strongest writer, but my UC ones was pretty good. I’m average, but I spent all my time on USC, and a college writing pro liked mine.
CommonApp: 9/10 nothing for Me to improve, but I guess it could be if someone went deep enough.
USC Supplement: 8/10 I did in the last week and I liked it but then again, it was a week.
UC: 8.5-9/10 spent a lot of time on it and did what I could.
Occidental: idk bc I copied and pasted from USC
Vanderbilt: 7/10 I liked it at the time, but now I see room for improvement.
Financial issues: my family is low income (40-50k). Need lots of FA.
Other: I’m an Korean male living in Southern California at a Christian school. I have been improving since freshman year, and I want colleges to know that. I know they see my grades, but please acknowledge that I did most of these stats in sophomore and junior year.
thanks CC, just waiting for decisions now. Last chance, I promise haha. Again, will chance back. thanks for reading.
