I’ve had two different friends who’s high school seniors were offered a significant increase in scholarship $'s the last week of April. Is waiting to accept in hopes of additional money a reasonable strategy? Are there any potential consequences of doing this?
Sometimes this happens… it it’s not the general norm.
We had one kiddo and two of his colleges upped his merit offers significantly between his early admisssion time and May 1.BUT his were music performances awards.
Let me ask you a different question. Is there any reason you MUST accept the offer of admission now? If not…just wait and see. And choose before May 1.
My oldest is a couple of years away. I am asking for a dear friend whose only child is a senior.
Funny that you mention music, one of the kids is at a music college singing.
