What do you suggest? I’ve already finished my Kaplan studying book. I also have the 5 steps to a 5 book and I’m doing that right now. Do you think I need anything else? (Such as flash cards) I got a “5” on the practice exam in the Kaplan book (I’m doing the 2nd practice exam next weekend) and I got a 100% on the 75 question practice exam we did in school. (But it was really easy and curved by 5 questions) So any other suggestions? I MUST GET A 5!!!
By the way this is my first AP exam.

If you had a glossary, I think it’d be great to have someone quiz you since the test has so much of that.

Work on FRQs they trip people up. Know lots of examples of key terms including supra nationalism, stateless nations, push/pull factors, etc. Knowing examples can also help you remember during the test.

Ah yes examples. Must remember those.

What I would do is go through the FRQs on collegeboard think about how you might answer, how much evidence you could give, etc. and then look at their scoring guidelines and the 8-9 FRQs that were written by students (don’t even bother with the 5-6 or 2-3) that will work as a review of concepts and a sampling of how collegeboard likes to phrase their questions. Also, remember that AP human geo is typically a freshman course with not very many upperclassman taking this course, that means that the competition is much weaker than it is for other exams. some of the students taking the exam are not even “true” AP level students. Hopefully that gives you a good method to study and a little confidence boost.

If you had a decent teacher you don’t need to study all that much. I just looked at the princeton book the last 2 days and got a 5.

@SwaggyC I do have a good teacher and I got a 5 on all the practice tests I did but I’m just scared that the real test
is gonna be way harder than the practice.

The main thing I’m terrified about are the FRQs. I don’t think you need to worry too much about the MCs; just take a bunch of practice tests to improve your MC score.

If you feel the need to cram last-minute, you probably aren’t ready for it.

Have you crammed for a test to literally the “very last minute” by re looking at formulas over and over right before the teacher passes out the exam… and you still dont do well? It’s like that.

@Jarjarbinks23 I’m ready. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get a 5 but I want unless the FRQs are super hard.
