Greetings everyone.. I was just wondering, when should my LAST sat test be before its considered "too late"? I noticed my scores change quite a bit depending on my mood/emotions the day of the test.. and I want to take it as much as I can...

These are the dates I'm definitely taking...

October 6, 2007
November 3, 2007
December 1, 2007

Could I still end up taking

January 26, 2008 also? Or is it too late or something..

How many tries at the SAT do you want? After 3 times it doesn't really help your application - just throwing that out. Big disparities in your score report (which you say depends on your mood) would also tip off the adcoms about your situation.

You need to look at the separate school policies for taking SATs. You're definitely safe for October, but anything beyond that and you'll start to have some issues. November is borderline for EA/ED and UCs. December is the "real" last chance for most January 1 colleges. January scores are only considered on a case-by-case basis by some schools since your apps are due already. If your school is rolling admissions, then it should be fine regardless of what day. Go do some research! =p

I don't know what colleges you are aiming at, but Harvard says class of 2008 seniors can take the January 2008 tests to be timely for their new single-deadline admission system, and it does NOT help to rush scores for Harvard, as all scores, rushed and nonrushed, arrive on the same date.

But I would agree with oasis that you need to detach your score performance from your mood. It's the same test, however you feel that day. How are you preparing for the test?
