The answer is D but I also need an explanation

Thanks in advance :)

for portraying or her portrayal of

that make
Physical properties… make

I’m not sure on what choice C is for number 2. It only has three choices…

For #3 “that makes” is modifying “physical properties” not “a diamond”. Btw you are missing an answer choice for #2.

edit: nvm guess I was wrong about #3.

Sorry there was a mistake in number 2
But i want explanations for the questions; I know their answers.

For her portrayal because it has to be a noun.

Which answer did you pick? I really don’t see anything wrong with the sentence. C is correct because it is saying that the flavor of a Meyer lemon is less acidic than that of a common lemon.

Physical properties…make
Subject verb agreement.

Thanks @JefferyJung
and btw regarding #2 and choice D, is in it supposed to be (more edible)?

How can something be more edible?

It’s either edible or inedible.

Is sofa more edible than a book?
I’m not sure… haha

Oh ok i understood
Excuse my lack of knowledge
I am an international student so sometimes I face troubles in some of the sentences.

Yea like what jefferyjung said edible is one of those absolute words. Another one is “unique”. Something can’t be more unique than another

Hope this helps!

I understand your difficulties. I had trouble learning certain things in the foreign language I took, Spanish, and Spanish is way easier to learn than English. Good luck on the test!

guys i didn’t understand #1
