I requested my official transcript be sent to UCSC around late May, and according to my portal, they have not received it yet. Should I would be worried and contact the administration?

I requested my t/s to be sent to UCSC before it was ready. I requested it through a service called Parchment, which handles that for my high school. I requested for the latest transcript which was not ready yet. It was mailed, according to the service, on June 15. UCSC did not acknowledge receipt of it on the portal until June 26. You may want to check with your high school to see when it was mailed, or if you use a service like Parchment, when it was mailed. If it was mailed a while ago, you might want to send UCSC an email or call to see if they have it. (It is due on July 15).

Thanks for the info. Do you who I should contact at UCSC about the transcripts either through e-mail, or phone?

It does take some time. My daughter had the same concern so she checked in with her high school. Even though the kids had to make their requests in May, the transcript mailed out on June 20th. As of late afternoon on July 3 there was no change on the portal, but this morning 7/4 it finally said “completed”.

For those of you who went to a public school in San Francisco I just heard back that transcripts have been sent yesterday so you don’t have to worry about them being late.

Thank you everyone for your responses. Techhexium thanks for your answer especially since that was the response I wanted. I just don’t understand why my friend requested his later than mines, but they sent his first.

No problem Sinvid17, I was worried about this too. Assuming you go to a SFUSD high school, all transcripts of those who go to college have to be printed and shipped by the district’s Transcripts office, several thousand of them I guess. And yeah the whole process began in late April where we choose where transcripts should be sent but I’m glad that’s over with!
