Late Mid-Year Transcript

Hi,

So I’m a homeschooled student earning my diploma through an online school. I’ve applied to ~8 schools (MIT, UPenn, Harvard, Princeton, Northwestern, Rice, Cornell, and Duke).

Because of the way my school works, I will not be able to send my mid-year transcript until March 1st. Is this a major problem, and would it negatively impact the consideration my application receives?

I’ve emailed all of these schools that I’m applying to about this issue but I forgot to specifically mention the date March 1st in my email (I said “a few days after February 15th”).

Half of the schools responded saying either that a few days past the deadline is fine or simply “send in your transcript as soon as it is available”. Harvard gave me a specific date, saying that mid-year transcripts are accepted even in early March.

Is anyone else in a similar situation/has been in a similar situation? Would my late transcript be a major problem?

Thanks.

Based on the responses you received it looks like schools won’t have a big issue with it. If you want to readdress and give them the specific date then go ahead.
