<p>I just noticed that for the past two years, classes have started somewhere around Labor Day (September 4 and 5th with this year's classes beginning ON Labor Day). So what's with next year and classes not starting until the 12th?</p>

And in monday 12, I guess the orientation week starts…</p>

<p>Which is a week later than what has been customary. I imagine international students come the same time new freshman arrive on the 6th. Still curious as to why…</p>
<p>Actually international students come to Middlebury a week BEFORE the freshmen arrive…it’s a week only for international students and it is organized by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)… For the Class of 2015, this date is 09/02/2011…</p>
