So I sent my ACT scores to Tufts yesterday and I’m about to submit my CommonApp but I realized that since my school is on break my transcript won’t be sent until we get back on the 4th… will this affect my application? Should I even bother submitting my CommonApp and paying the application fee?

No. The vast majority of schools realize that some things are not in your control and will have a grace period for transcripts, teachers’ recs, etc. Just make sure that your part of the application is submitted on time.
