later orientation=no classes?

"science" is a fairly loose label.

i mean, you can study earthquakes, oceans, dinosaurs... it's not as though you're limited to biology/chem/physics.

Yeah, fortunately they have Ling 1 for life sci, and a class about weather (a hobby of mine) for phy sci. Everytime I find something to worry about, I find a silver lining! That is one of the happy advantages of a giant university. :)

Okay, I'm a poli sci transfer and my orientation is this Thursday. I'm trying to plan out my classes and it looks like most of the poli sci classes are closed. Am I screwed or will they open up more?

how are pre-bizecon majors' classes?

I'm guessing since I'm 110 I'm completely screwed?

you cant signup for ur major classes in the fall anyways. ur OC wont let you. start taking math 31a or 31b if you placed out. im an aspiring econ major, and accounting minor...i know somewhat about the workings of this process.

^ I want to minor in accounting too. Any advice? Suggestions as far as picking classes?

cis study area ucla
look at the requirements... generally, just start working on econ 1/econ 2 so that you can knock out that part of your major . . .

great thing about econ major and accounting minor is that alot of the prereqs overlap. if you start from scratch...say a science major wants to minor in accounting, its 19 courses total. i wud second mme-lin and start taking econ in the winter...and take management 1a if you like.

aren't you biz-econ? or are you straight up econ?

econ/international area studies, trying to minor in accounting...bizecon are just doing the shortcut...no respect.
