Latest date to submit letter of continued interest to Princeton?

Hi all,
I was deferred SCEA from Princeton, and plan on sending a letter of continued interest to the school. I’m not confident it will play a substantial role in my admissions decision, but I would rather be rejected knowing I tried everything than suffer the same result without having explored all avenues. Within the next three to four weeks, however, there will be a drastic increase in tangible results from a nonprofit I direct, and I would love to include these data in my letter. To do so, however, I would need to submit it at the end of February. Is this too late to send in the letter? Also, if I do end up sending in the letter, is it better to do so through snail mail or through the Princeton application portal? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Realistic options:

1- send a short note now reaffirming they’re you’re first choice school. Follow up with nonprofit results in late February

2- wait until February, then send both

If I were an admissions officer I’d prefer #2, and I’d prefer it electronically.

Thank you for the response! I will most likely follow route #2. I also learned today that a news segment and multiple newspaper articles will be published about our nonprofit regarding the same data, so I will be able to add those as well. Should I submit the letter of continued interest and the nonprofit update as separate documents, or should I simply put them on two pages in the same document?

How about option 3: send a note now (through the portal) reiterating interest, giving as much detail as you have about the projected increase in results from the nonprofit, and saying that you’ll follow up with further confirmatory info when they’re announced? In 3-4 weeks it’s possible they’ll have reached a decision on your application, so it might be best to put whatever you can out there now.

The end of February is when they re-visit deferred applicants. Send your letter before then. Put your interest and updated accomplishments in the same email. Send it in the body of the email. Don’t send it as a word document (because then they will have to download it before they can read it, which is annoying) or upload it in the portal-send it to your REGIONAL ADMISSIONS OFFICER because he/she are the ones evaluating your application.
