<p>Hello, I am a high school sophomore who wants to go to MIT. I want to be an engineer and was wondering what foreign language I should take. I am already fluent in Spanish but will be taking it nevertheless for three years in high school. However, from an engineering standpoint, which language would be better to learn? Also, does anyone know where I can take classes online for college credit? Thanks</p>
<p>By far the most useful foreign language you could learn (for any career) would be Chinese (Mandarin). You would have many more opportunities on graduation than with any other language.</p>
