LaunchX/MIT Launch 2019 Megathread

@CoolCoder My pleasure! Admissions decisions may come earlier depending on a few factors, but everyone will hear by the March 1st date!

@choatie21 @collegeparent26 Interview invitations are still being sent out, and it is possible for early candidates to be deferred so there is no reason to be concerned

Iā€™d recommend to continue checking your email regularly for any updates

Iā€™m in the video making process and Iā€™ve been watching other peopleā€™s videos and a lot who get accepted have a video over 90 seconds. But the application says that there no exceptions for videos under 90 seconds. So what should I do? Should I go over 90 seconds or will that hurt my application? Thanks

Just submitted my application for the LaunchX program. The final deadline is tomorrow. When are the regular decision candidates likely to hear about admissions notifications?

@whatislife12 Iā€™d recommend following the directions stated. They are all pretty straight forward, and trust me, it cannot hurt your application to follow the requirements, so in my opinion, itā€™s always better to be safe than sorry

Hey everyone! Make sure to perfect any last items and submit your application by the deadline TODAY! Good luck!

Hi @snsh5713 . Congrats on applying! Regular decisions candidates will receive a notification by April 15, 2019!

Has anyone received acceptances ? Iā€™ve heard usually only rejections go out on March 1 . Is that true?

@seniorrrrr really? now im worried. does anyone know if this is true??

Just got in!

Congrats! I just did as well! I canā€™t find when the deposit is due in the email, if anyone could tell me thatā€™d be great.

Deferred. Darn it!

My son just now got in!

He got into U-Mich though his 1st choice was MIT - does the campus matter? Please post

Congratulations to everyone accepted! Keep in mind acceptances are rolling so donā€™t stress if you didnā€™t get an email yet. If you havenā€™t been accepted, donā€™t worry about it either! The applicant pool is extremely competitive, and a lot of people who get into Launch had to apply twice (including myself)!

hey all i just got rejected!

Who got into MIT campus? Do you guys know if the colleges themselves provide housing? Thanks!

Hey Guys, did anyone else get into U Mich campus this year or before? Is there anything I should know about?

I also got into U MIch

I got into Northwestern!
Do you guys think itā€™s worth the $? My family doesnā€™t qualify for financial aid but I mean its a ton of money regardless of what you make :frowning:
