Law School Academic Emphasis

Hi, I am an international student who have recently started looking into U.S. and British law schools. And I was wondering if anyone can help me with what these schools focus on. For example, I heard the Yale law school curriculum is more theory oriented. Which other top law schools in the U.S. focus on abstract theory? And which schools focus on real world application?

Also, if anyone know what the situation is like for British law schools, please post them as well. Thanks.

The higher-ranked schools tend to focus more on theory than other, lower ranked schools. Yale and Chicago are sometimes characterized as "conservative", and tend to use economics to analyze the law more so than other highly ranked law schools.

Um..no. Yale Law is not characterized as conservative--quite the contrary. It's regarded as one of the most liberal law schools.
