I'm only a junior, but I already know I want to be a lawyer. Any suggestions about some excellent law schools? I'm from California, so I can only think of UCLA, Stanford, Berkeley, & USC Law. (I doubt I'd get admitted into Harvard/Yale,etc)

It’s too early to be concerned about law school, which is based almost only on LSATs and GPA in college. The top 14 law schools are the best in the country and Berk and Stanford are both T14. They offer many more opportunities than other schools.

OP: I think it’s way too early to be thinking about this; it’s good to keep in mind that you’ll likely be looking into law school, so make sure you do well in college so that you have options, but there’s really no reason to be looking into specific schools this early, in my opinion.

To anyone else: I’m also a high school junior thinking about law school, and though I know it’s too early to be thinking about this, I’m worrying a bit about the LSAT. However, I’ve always done well on standardized tests without really trying (over 2300 with no studying on the SATs, 800 on math subject w/ little prep, and so on). So my question is, if you’re a person who finds standardized tests easy, will the LSAT be ok, or is it very different than other kinds of standardized tests? Thanks for letting me know :)

^ I would ask that on the law school forum. Either way, though, you’ll benefit from putting time into the LSAT. Just one or two points can dramatically change your outlook. But like you said, it’s too early to worry about that.
