It shows how average law schools costs are highly affected by the student’s LSAT score,and the ranking of the law school attended. Students with higher LSAT scores pay less to attend law school than those with lower LSAT scores. And with a given LSAT score, if a student attends a lower ranked low school, costs are lower on average than for a higher ranked law school, presumably because of merit scholarships at lower ranked law schools.
These relationships are probably obvious to those who are knowledgeable, but this info might be helpful for those who ask if they can get a scholarship to attend law school. The answer is yes, if you have high enough LSAT scores, and are willing to attend a slightly less selective law school than the best you can get admitted to.
