Law vs. Med school?

it is not that i am undeceive but i am inclined to both thing Law and medicine..

Now my predicament is that i would have to double major in Biology and i do not know what for Law.what should i major in to be eligible for law school?

Are there any pre-requisites for law and what are the pre-requisites for medicine?Like for law school what is he common classes most law school students take..and same goes for medicine? because yes ive done my research but i am still very confused.

i know it would be hard to double major in those two thins but i love them and thing is is it possible to double major in those and minor in a language?

last question what are some good colleges that i can do this double majoring at?

You can major in anything you want if you want to go to Law or Medical school, as long as you take the pre-requisite courses. You can ask the school, what the pre-requisite courses are for “pre-med” or “pre-law”. Alot of people who wish to go to law school, major in Political Science. However, there are numerous paths. If you want to become a patent attorney, major in a hard science like chemistry, take the required pre-requisites, and then go to law school. If you want to be a tax or corporate attorney, major in something like finance or accounting, get your CFA or CPA, work for a while, then go back to law school. There is no one set path. As for Med. school, you don’t need to major in Biology. You can major in Art and still go to Med school, as long as you take the pre-req’s, retain a high gpa(3.5 minimum) and get a good score on the MCAT’s. With all of this said, Law School and Med School are hard to get into. Make sure you pick something that has a solid fallback. Also, the law market is extremely oversaturated. There are more people with JD’s than there are jobs, so competitition will be very fierce.

If you are thinking about law school you can major in anything. Some of the more popular and useful majors in preparation for law school include: Economics, English, History, Psychology, and Business. Anything that will develop your critical thinking skills and writing skills.

I agree with scientific mind. To get into med and law school there is no particular major you should major in. I know for a fact that med schools frown upon majoring in biology because of so many people who have it. Of course there will be prerequisites, but majors don’t affect whether you get into med or law school.
