Which would you chose?

I would pick Lawrenceville being a lacrosse player and a big fan of the courses that Lawrenceville offers vs. SPS. Lawrenceville is bigger(By barely 200 kids I think?).

Lawrence is in Jersey... I love New Jersey and I think that Lawrence gets a bonus(great location) because of how close it is to Princeton.

Did you want my personal preference? Or what?

Hockey: SPS
Lacrosse: Lawrenceville

Larger School: Lawrenceville
Smaller, Community: SPS

Ivy League Prestige: SPS
State School Feel: Lawrenceville

judging by your username -- sps. also its more prestigious and great looking architecturally

As a boarder its great being at a school that is 100% boarding, so SPS - and great hockey traditions, too! Did you know you can skate outside in the winter on the same ponds where the first organized game of hockey in the US was played?

Lawrenceville = PG's (overaged seniors)
SPS = No PG's just great athletes

SPS for sure!

Does Lawerenceville have seated meals for lunch or dinner?

Thank you for your answers
They are two very good schools and i was admitted at both.
I will be going to the re-visits to get a better feel of the schools.
It will be tough to choose one so if anyone can help me in my decisional process,it will be greatly appreciated

lawrenceville has better weather.

Go SPS all the way. You're a hockey player, right? SPS has better hockey plus no PGs to take over your teams. SPS is 100% boarding so you'll have a really strong community, and has a 2000 acre campus! Even thought you'll see the same people a lot, you'll never feel like it's too small. SPS has 533 students, a good size so that you don't get tired of the other kids, but at the same time don't feel lost in the crowd.

Some stats:
% International students - LV: 8, SPS: 19 (Meet people from other countries!)
Avg. SAT score - LV: 1998, SPS: 2075
Teacher:Student ratio - LV: 1:8, SPS, 1:5
Avg. Class size - LV: 12, SPS: 10
% Faculty with Advanced Degree - LV: 63, SPS: 74
Endowment - LV: 200 million, SPS: 442 million
Tuition - LV: 42,350, SPS: 41,300

SPS ALL THE WAY

Go Lawrenceville -- wait listed SPS & need some spots to open LOL

Seriously -- You have 2 great choices -- I think re-visits will let you know which is right

Go to Lawrenceville you will always wonder, maybe regret it. Go to St.Paul's and you will never look back.

ST PAULS!!! DEF ST. PAUL'S!! IT'S STATS ARE WAAAAY BETTER THAN LAWWRENCEVILLE! Especially for hockey, even if you'd rather watch than play, you can watch your school win!! Or help it win. Whatever. Going to SPS increases your chances of getting into a good college.

Depends on what you want. Lawrenceville's hockey is not as strong as St. Paul's, (but of course its lax is dominant beyond any of the New England schools)--but otherwise it is right up there with SPS, except lacking the cachet of being in New England.

Sps no doubt!

Hmm tough choice....but I say SPS!

is anyone going to SPS next year for sure? sophomores?

Ill be a soph next yr there.
