Hey, everyone. I made an account specifically to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have about LBW this year. I had no peers with any prior knowledge of any kind of summer camp, let alone one of the best in the country. So I want to be there for anyone who needs it. Best of luck in your future endeavors!!

Hi! Alright here goes:
- My best moment was probably the final night when I stayed up with a bunch of the guys and just hung out reminiscing about our summer together until we all had to leave. The worst moment was whenever the people actually had to leave and I was the last one of my friend group at Wharton.
- I never received any advice other than what the people who worked with the camp said, and it was pretty much all generic. You really need to go out there and network with as many people as you can. Gosh, I can’t say enough good things about them.
- The environment at first was really tense at first. There were some kids who knew each other from like New Jersey, China, and other places so being from a rural town in Missouri I didn’t feel like I fit in. But the people there are very inclusive from my time there; you just have to make a space for yourself. These are some of the brightest kids in the world, and you have to be able to hold your own in lectures. The lectures for me were quite long, but packed full of valuable information. You will get tired at some point; don’t let a little fatigue stop you from soaking up as much information as you can.
- I would do it again in a heartbeat. I wish I would have cherished the time a little bit more; you will absolutely love LBW if you attend.
- My first day was kinda strange to be honest. I called them “Penn State” to one of the people I talked to and I was so embarrassed lol. My roommate was from London and that was the first time I ever talked to anyone with a British accent. It was wild going from cows and corn to Huntsman Hall. I am not sure what your background is, but I’m sure you will find it easy to acclimate. People welcomed me very warmly the whole time and any fear of them being uptight were relieved on the first day. This program is a great opportunity to find out if Wharton is for you; I highly recommend it.
Could anyone share your opinion on LBW vs. LaunchX programs in terms of learning environment and pros/cons? Which one would you go if you were accepted by both? My son is in this situation and we need to make the final decision quickly. Thanks a lot!
