Ours was a sweaty mat to do situps on. Man, we thought it was ... well, something.

I would never choose my college based on the rec center, no worries! I am simply trying to find out as much as possible about the schools I applied to so that, when I find out where I get in, it'll be a little easier to make a decision. I mean, academics isn't everything, I'll choose my school not only for its academics but for its social life, its food, its housing, its availability of the activities I like, its nightlife, and, yes, even its rec center. If I'm going to be living there the next four years of my life, I want to enjoy it!

You need not explain or defend that. It makes perfect sense. Good luck.

Yes, I apologize for construing that.

I was a moron.

From what I saw on the tour the rec center was really nice (admitted ED)... However, compared to the schools in my state it faltered. Still, it was plenty good for me and I was satisfied by what I saw. I'm an avid sports player (play racquetball and tennis every week, football and basketball very often too, also hit the gym sometimes). UF, FSU, and UM were much nicer but then again think of the type of school and you'll see why.
