What exactly are the benefits of being involved in the LEAD program?

I am interested in hearing about this too. The sight isn’t real clear on somethings.

How many classes are you supposed to take a semester each year?
Are they in addition to, or in lieu of your normal class load?

Does it take you away from the regular student population (i.e. you are tied up with LEAD activities)?

Is it worth it?

I’d like to hear this, too. UCF’s websites can be so vague.

i agreeeeeeeee.

this is a bit late of a reply but i asked a student who is now at UCF. she considered applying for the LEAD scholars program as well when she was a senior, but she said that it really wasn’t worth the effort.
you take extra classes to be in the program and in the end she said it doesn’t really pay off?
i thought that i would apply but later reconsidered and didn’t. :]
