I've been invited to this "leadamerica" conference this year. I may go to the section called "Intelligence, Defense, and Homeland Security". I think it may look good on my resume as I want to major in international relations.

Is this program beneficial or is it a big scam? Thanks a bunch in advance.

(Also on a side note would it be better for me to go to speech&debate camp over the summer or junior statesman instead of leadamerica?)

LeadAmerica, to my understanding, is not considered to be too prestigious (mostly if you can pay you get in). I'd go be a junior statesman instead. That's just my opinion though.

I went to a conference last year and am going again this year. I had a sweet time last year. Not only did i have fun but i learned alot. Our simulation and speakers were awesome. I met soo many great people. I still stay in contact with some of them, plus I got college credit. it is not a scam at all.

The TL's (team leaders) are awesome. They all go or have went to the best colleges. My TL (Doug) wrote letters of recommendation for some in the group. The insight they have about how to apply to college, what to expect, and the contacts they have is great. It looks great on admission forms
