Lean://Gap vs. MIT Launch?

I recently applied to lean gap and got accepted, but I also plan on applying to MIT launch. any reviews on either side?

I would be very interested to hear more about the lean gap program as well. It is fairly new, but sounds really good. There is a lot about MIT Launch on CC but hardly anything on lean gap. Is there anyone who attended lean gap who can give their opinion on the program?

Launch is more established and prestigious, and it is taught by professors and experts/professionals in the field. It will look better on a college resume, if that’s what you’re looking for. Leangap is taught by students primarily. You will have contact with experts, but they will not be your primary sources.
I was accepted to Leangap last year and didn’t go because I was kind of put off by how student-run it was, and the apparent lack of organization that was going on within the company itself. The program being run by students may not be as much of an issue for you as it was for me, but in my situation, if I’m going to shell out a few thousand dollars, I would really want to make sure that I’m actually getting my money’s worth and not just paying to go stay on a campus with some barely-qualified kids fresh out of high school.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to diss Leangap here or anything. I wouldn’t have applied to it last year if I didn’t think it was a worthwhile program, and there are many cool aspects of it that I wish I had experienced (though I don’t regret my decision to reject admission). You will learn a lot and start a business at both programs, whether you are concerned about certain things like faculty is up to you.

It’s starring out Lean gap for some reason lol.
