<p>Do most incoming freshman live in learning communities or do most choose to live in just normal dorms? If you live in a learning community do you have to participate in their activities or can you do your own thing? Thanks.</p>
<p>Many more live in regular dorms than Learning Communities. There are very few Learning Communities--with probably about 500 students total, while over 5,000 freshmen total live in the dorms.</p>
<p>As far as the activities question, you'd have to ask someone who has lived in one. My guess is you can participate or not at your preference (although if you don't participate, it kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?).</p>
<p>you don't have to participate but you do have to pay a fee for their activities. 50$ for the year i think. I live in International Business Community, we haven't done any activities yet.</p>
