My son completed his housing application on myucf, and went into the Living Learning site to apply for the OSSM community. It says "Thank you for your interest in participating in a living learning community at UCF. At this time the application is closed." Any idea what this means? Is it too early to apply, or too late?

Thanks,

What is the OSSM? My son was told he needed to apply for the Learning Community, but it seems to be closed for now.

I saw this too, I personally think it might be too early to apply for it

OSSM is Out of State Student Mentoring. It is a community for out of state students. The applications for the living communities opened today.

Does anyone know how many are admitted to each Living Learning Community? I know that it is determined by the date you submitted your housing deposit and the paragraph you submit with your application on how you would benefit from being in the program, but I was wondering if I had a chance. Are there very many turned away? I submitted my housing deposit on April 2nd. I am interested in the Volunteers uKnighted Living Learning Community. I have called housing, but they weren’t very much help!
