Does anybody else find LearnLink's mailbox terribly frustrating? I don't even know how to send mail on this thing. I'm not sure how much more UN-user friendly it could possibly be. I would use web-mail, but my web-mail doesn't even receive e-mails; my inbox is empty no matter what. I spent hours trying to configure Outlook Express with my Emory e-mail address but this ended up in unusual errors and problems. Quite possibly, this is the worst e-mail client ever. That's my opinion, anyways.

You can't send email from it until you are enrolled into the college. You're on a special version of learnlink called Connect2010. Email is turned off. Webmail and learnlink email are the same. Email sent to either address is forwarded automatically to both boxes. I don't even know how to get into webmail anymore, and I don't think most people use it. Don't bother hooking it up with outlook. Using it with outlook makes it much more difficult. Learnlink is amazing. It is one of the best parts of Emory, I promise you.

To send a new message, you click the white button in the top left hand side of the box (Create New Message), Fill out the To: section with an email address, and then click send.

Ahhh.. so I still have the 'special' version. That explains my grief.

Thanks for filling me in.

What really bothers me is that when I get mail on this Learnlink thing I can't delete a bunch of stuff at once. I have to delete each letter individually. Also, when reading posts, if I want to go back to the back before and I press the back arrow button, it brings me to the very first post page. I'm really not liking learnlink at this point.

To select multiple messages, click the first message, hold down shift and then click another message. Every message between the two will be highlighted. Press delete on your keyboard. You can sort the messages by clicking the top of the columns (title, sender, etc.)

There is a button on your toolbar called "Previous in Thread." Hold the mouse over them and look to the bottom left of the page to see what the buttons do.

You will use LL every day. There's no reason to be unconstructively critical. Stop complaining about something that you obviously know little about.
