legacy

I know you all hate legacies since you all have like, 2300's.
However, i am an out of state resident applying at penn state
MY father, sister(current) and uncle haave all attended psu. My gpa is a 3.0 overall, 2.7 fresh, 2.9 10th, and 3.4 jr. (with all music/gym and stuff, which psu said they included). I got a 570 M and 500 Cr, planning on retaking. I was capt tennis team, 4 year varsity letter, member of KPCA ethnic group assc. Also member of marching/pep band.

What are my chacnese? i know its 2/3 gpa, and i plan on applying summer session, s

since 5000 people usually read the post and dont respond, just gimme some feedback .

thanks

BUMppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

anotha bump

Most of the kids I know who go to Penn State (in-state, Main) are usually in the 1250 range when it comes to SATs. The normal GPA is 3.5.

I don't think your legacy will help you much at such a big school. However, I do know of one person who had a 3.8 GPA but a 900's SAT and still got admitted (although he was in-state). I don't want to bust your bubble, but adcoms will not accept an out-of-state over an in-state applicant just because his SATs are 50 points higher if ya know what I mean. Good luck anyway, and it won't hurt to apply
