I really liked Lehigh when I visited and it's certainly in my top five schools of choice. However, I read/heard it was very homogeneous shortly after my tour - something I didn't really get from the tour. It seemed to me like a place where there would be a lot of different people. I'd love to attend, but if it's not so diverse as I hope, it may not be such a good choice afterall. So, I ask of you this: is it really as homogeneous as it sounds, or is this some Lafayette-born plot to mislead?

I think Lehigh is ~70% white. Lehigh isn’t NYU in terms of diversity, it never will be. Umoja is on campus, there are a lot of culturally diverse clubs and activities. For me it was a good mix. I would say the engineering program is much more diverse than arts and sciences. Diversity is something Lehigh has worked to improve, and there have certainly been changes since when I started in 2002.

yea they have some problems with diversity heres a recent article about racism and lehigh it seems like a problem if your a minority [The Brown & White](http://www.thebrownandwhite.com/home/index.cfm?event=displayArticle&ustory_id=af77ed1f-a18b-4657-99be-7709946a92fb)

Interestingly enough, the students I know at Lehigh happen to be some of the most racist, ethnocentric kids I know…some of them refused to look at schools where they thought there was “too much diversity”…
