I applied ED and applied for financial aid but I didn’t send in any papers, what does that mean? They didn’t notify me or anything.

I’m not sure, you should probably call the Financial Aid office on Monday or something. :/

Do you have to file the CSS profile?

Well the thing is a month ago, when I was submitting my application, we called the office to see if everything we needed was in, and she said were all good to go.

The papers it says I’m missing is some kind of Farm Ownership form and something else that doesn’t even apply to us, and therefore we don’t have them. I’m going to call on Monday, which is the earliest I can.

I was just wondering if the fact that they reviewed my financial aid forms meant anything?

I filed the CSS Profile and sent in last years tax returns or something. My dad took care of most of the financial aid aspect, so I can’t remember everything he sent.

Liddle, you would need to complete the CSS profile by mid Novmber if you are applying ED. If you have not, do so this weekend and then call the Financial aid office on Monday. I am not sure what can be done at this point, but maybe you can get an extension.

If you do not file the CSS profile you will not be considered for financial aid or merit aid. You also have to complete the FAFSA in January.

Wait, I did not fill out my CSS yet either. I was completely unaware that I was supposed to do that if I applied ED. Do I need to get this in ASAP?

…Here’s Lehigh’s financial aid page: [Lehigh University: Undergraduate Admissions: Tuition & Financial Aid: Apply for Financial Aid](http://www4.lehigh.edu/admissions/undergrad/tuition/apply.aspx)

It shows all the deadlines for things, so yeah, you should probably call them on Monday.

Yes KBO! ASAP! You are already very late if you need aid. But as momof2boyz said, you can call up the aid office and clarify! All the best.

Should I just wait until Wednesday to see if I got accepted? Does financial aid have anything to do with admissions?

It said that the financial aid package is mailed with the acceptance letter. In my opinion, you should call asap on Monday and ask what you should do about it.

Im so worried this probably means I got defferred

I got that letter too! It was like we need your tax returns and something else. I don’t know, my mom took care of it. Yeah, I was thinking…would they take the time to calculate a FA package for everyone who applies? Or just who has been accepted?

im just freaking out about WHEN we find out! most other schools sent out emails with specific dates + times, any news about Lehigh?

Don’t know. It says mid Dec. No specific date. I’m so worried :S

i want to know the dat! only 3 days left and i’m scared!
im ED, and i did that email portal, searched my name, and nothing came up are you sure it works?

I called admissions on friday too and they just told me everything would be posted and sent out this coming week. I also just checked the email and name search thing and it didn’t come up with anything but I am not too worried about that.
and in terms of what date and time, all I can say is as of this week I am the only one allowed to pick up the mail at my house, and I am probably going to check the portal every morning and after school. good luck!

As far as I know, Lehigh is not need-blind and they consider your financial situation in making decision. For the guy who’s been asked additional financial documents, I think they could be making the decision or have accepted you already.

By the way, some decisions may have been already posted. We should be checking our portal very often since there’s no specific date. Good luck everybody!

oh that’s good, lvs628. Not sending out decisions yet? Then I don’t have to worry about not seeing my name on the list. Thanks for the info.

I just had never heard of a CSS profile. I thought that the FAFSA, which is only available in the new year, is all that is needed to obtain financial aid. I’ll be sure to get that in soon, and I have an email out to their financial aid office to help me with this process.
