Lehigh Class of 2025 RD

Accepted, but received VERY poor aid! Lehigh is asking me to pay more than double the amount that was calculated on the net price calculator. I have received perfect aid from other universities. This is ridiculous. Lehigh claims they meet 100% demonstrated need. Does anyone know why this happened?

My D is in with Trustee’s scholarship(equal to half of tuition, 1% of applicants). I think the final financial package will be more money. Good luck!

wait did the financial aid package/letter come out yet?

Yes, it is out. You need to first set up your Lehigh account. All info. is available on your acceptance letter

Did anyone have the FERPA thing not checked off on your financial aid checklist even though you definitely did it? I feel like I may have missed out on some money because of it

ok thanks

Waitlisted again! My S Got WL at BC, Bucknell, and Lehigh but thankfully got accepted to Villanova! Guess he’s a Wildcat!

Congrats to those that were accepted

Waitlisted to bioengineering. Current Valedictorian of my class. Oh well!
Goodluck to all!

Where is the Student portal to access financial aid?

is 45k per year worth it (with all loans 35k) pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Business? Also, how often is it students receive more after speaking with a financial aid counselor? Anyone know what I should mention in my meeting to ensure I am granted more money?

If you’re interested send a LOCI and any new accomplishments with a commit to go if offered a spot. Lehigh often WL high stat applicants because they assume they’re using them as a safety. If you did apply for that reason and don’t want to go then don’t send anything. But you’ll have a shot if they believe you’ll attend.

My D17 is a senior this year majoring in CSB and he’s loved it. The financial piece is what’s important because you don’t want to graduate with a lot of debt. Is that 35k a year or total for 4 years?

worrying about decreases in grant aid over the years! I plan on giving a call next week. I love this school though.

Of all the schools my son applied to last year, Lehigh was the least generous. It was pretty stunning and difficult for my son to decline.

The financial stuff is crazy this year along with the apps! Wishing you lots of success in your quest :four_leaf_clover:! Congratulations on your acceptance!
