Hi! I have posted on this thread before. I was wondering if I could still make it to Lehigh engineering with 2 C+'s in math and one B. Is it still a possibility? Thanks in advance!
So you just finished your 9th grade, right?
I just have to wonder why you are drawn to engineering if math is not one of your stronger subjects. I don’t mean that to discourage you. But, the math required for all engineers freshman year is pretty tough. My son had a friend who flunked a semester of the math and was able to go to summer school after freshman year and make up the class. Lehigh offers most of the engineering required freshman classes during summer school in case a student has a hard time with those tough required classes.
If you are getting C’s and B’s then are you going to be able to take honors or AP math classes? You will need to take the more advanced classes to consider engineering almost anywhere, I am guessing.
One thing I really like about Lehigh was there are many technical majors offered through the school of Arts and Sciences. They just don’t require as much math and science. I thought that was a nice option for students.
