What would you say the ratio of Republicans to Democrats to Greens to Others is at Lehigh? Are people active in politics?

Does the Asian Studies program include Japanese (language, etc.)? If so, is it good?

Lehigh is a heavily represented Republican school. Alumni are having a fit that Michael Moore is scheduled to speak next week.

Sorry, can't help you out with the Asian Studies question, I'm in engineering.

Hill, can you comment on your general thoughts/feelings about the school/engineering program? Social scene heavily drinking based?

hill - same question as MrHappyFace - any info would be appreciated by D! Thanks

I like the school and the engineering program. It's kind of early to really judge (only been here since August) it but right now it's going well. I was able to opt out of a few classes with AP credit...and I'm kind of bored, but I'm sure it will get harder.

As far as the social scene - it is definitely a "sociable" school. If you plan to pledge to a frat/soro you'll be fine. If you don't drink, you might have a tough time here, unless you don't mind spending some time alone. It just depends what your priorities are. I know what I want to do (after college) so I don't plan to deviate from my schedule.

The best thing to do is come and visit the campus...and decide for yourself.
