Lehigh Regular decision 2014 Applicants

Looks like financial aid information is up! Shows cost of attendance but no Merit for my son:(

Did anyone get financial aid or merit-aid information on their portal yet? I don’t have any financial aid information on my portal.

Merit scholarships are a very small percentage of grants given out by Lehigh. I applied to a lot of schools and Lehigh was the only one that did not give any merit based aid to me. However as far as need-based, Lehigh went above and beyond what we had expected and what I received from other schools.

The aid info comes with the acceptance letter. Don’t despair yet. You will receive a folder of information in the mail with the actual letter of acceptance and included in that will be all the answers to the questions here. good luck

Son was accepted last week to CSB program and was invited to the Diversity Weekend. Wasn’t sure if we wanted to visit again (visited last November) without knowing the financial information. Even though Lehigh is my son’s number one choice, it’d tough for us to send him without merit aid. We’re in California and did not want to disappoint him if the finances don’t line up. He’s been accepted to other schools with as much as $25K/year merit awards.

@mjplayer My daughters financial aid tab is updated with her award. Check it out for your son!

Have any of you received merit aid in your award on the portal, or is it possible that merit will only be in the letters?

@BoysWant2bEngrs I just checked my portal and I received a Dean’s Scholarship (I do not know if I’ve received need-based aid because I only submitted preliminary tax returns - they were complicated this year). I was also called a few hours ago and invited to the Eckardt Scholars Program. Perhaps they are updating the financial aid portals in waves?

Are all decisions posted at the same time or are they spread out? Our D’s portal is still saying decisions will be available in late March.

Wait listed as well. Surprising as got accepted to U of R (with merit), Northeastern (with merit), RPI
As stated by tim719: Oh well, life goes on!

Anyone know if there is a way to tell which program you got accepted into from the portal? Thanks!

Twillsmomnp: You have a great resume. Too strong for Lehigh. Looks like you were another victim of the Tufts Syndrome they practice in Bethlehem.

CoasterFreak: Not necessarily. My son was accepted a couple of years ago with an Academic Merit Award and had strong stats (perfect ACT, all 5’s on APs, ranked 3rd in class). We believe the difference was he had a great interview with an alum in our area. I really think you need to show interest or you could be subject to Tufts Syndrome.

@JohnLUadmissions - Are all decisions posted at the same time or are they spread out? Our D’s portal is still saying decisions will be available in late March. Thanks.

Is there anyone who has received admission to Lehigh/Drexel BS/MD ?

Does anyone get to see financial aid award on online portal? I am still unable to view mine. So nervous.

My son found his financial aid award on his admitted student portal, which is a NEW portal you have to sign up for once you’ve been admitted.
