Reading through various posts about Lehigh on this site and in “The Brown and White”, it appears the “Path to Prominence” initiative under the prior administration was met with mixed reviews by alums and students. It appears that initiative has been discontinued.
I’m curious as to thoughts on the new administration now that President Helble has been in office since summer 2021. Thank you!
My sense as an alum is that quite a bit of the infrastructure goals outlined in the original “Path to Prominence” have been completed or at least begun even if the plan may have been rebranded a bit. New College of Health, new Health, Science and Technology building, new residence halls south of Trembley Park, and University Center renovations began this year. Additionally, they just opened a new 74,000 sq. ft. state of the art Business Innovation Building last month. Enrollment has begun to increase, and selectivity has begun to track in the right direction again.
