I am aware of the ED contract and the consequences of breaking it (for my school & family).
@indubitableDan after looking at your posts on the Lehigh Page, it makes sense why you seemed so frazzled. —my only comment to add is that there is CHOICE housing which i plan on doing next year which is anti-drugs and alcohol. I hope there I will be able to avoid much of the party lifestyle. Also-- my own opinion here but Laffayette shoked me in how terrible they were. I visited and I felt bad for the students there, the school did a great job trying to convince people they are awesome. But after I walked off campus and took a real look past the glitz, it really was nothing special. You may have a different opinion of course which we are all entitled too. Also I looked at Bucknell-- dont know much about their science’s but Lehigh seemed much more into research than Bucknell.
@poetrymusiclover that’s what I heard about Lafayette and Bucknell on many other posts. I was looking at Bucknell very closely because of the school’s pre-med ranking (http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/lists/list/the-experts-choice-colleges-with-great-pre-med-programs/199/); however, like you just stated, Bucknell isn’t as research involved as Lehigh. I feel as if I can make MANY connections at Lehigh, which is why I want to apply ED2 at Lehigh. My mom has finally gotten over the fact that her only son is moving out, so she doesn’t mind me going off to places like Lehigh or Bucknell. Hopefully, if I get into Lehigh, I can afford it (Lehigh net price calculator was the most generous compared to others).
