Have been accepted to the engineering schools at both Lehigh and UMichigan, but am having trouble deciding between them. The North Campus of Michigan is where all the engineering courses are located and that, in itself, feels like a smallish college. I really liked Lehigh when I visited, but am aware that Michigan is ranked higher for engineering. Any thoughts?

in my opinion your wording is somewhat absurd.

what do you value you more?

a school where they get tons of funding, hire tons of researchers, and have huge classes.
(and where almost none of that have anything to do with the undergrad students)
orr…
a school where it’s a small community of people, where the professors are personable, and where the funding ratio is way higher for a school of their size?

If you want the ranking then go for UM but if you want a good experience at college then go for lehigh.
