Wake was originally my first choice but after getting waitlisted I thought that i would end up at lehigh...i visited lehigh a couple weeks ago and liked it more than i thought i would...i got into the school of business and economics at lehigh...im totally confused now...i feel more comfortable at lehigh (it is closer to home) but feel like i should take advantage of my acceptance into wake. my main concern is that i would have a better experience at lehigh because the workload is not as intimidating and the students there seem to have more fun...i have no clue. what does everyone think?

Well I know nothing about Wake Forest so keep that in mind.

If you were my kid, since you mentioned wanting to be closer to home, I'd probably ask you if you plan to stay in the NJ/PA/NY area after graduation. If so, that leans toward Lehigh b/c of contacts, internships etc.

There are so many factors to consider and it's hard to give an opinion without being familiar with both schools. If you turned down other schools, maybe think about why and see if some of those factors swing you one way or another - are there similarities with either Lehigh or Wake?

good advice...thanks mcdeb...any one else?

you might try the admissions board or the parents board, both are more active.

There was a post under college admissions called
"must make a decision by tomorrow" with some info about wake forest v. boston college that might be helpful to you.
